Veteran Breeder Mike Nelsh discovered
"Passion",
the sire of "Lover Boy"
(below), at Longmont where he
saw "Passion" and commented, "Thats a really good ram, Steve."
"Passion" topped the sale going for $5000.00 to then
up-coming breeders, 5-Star J, the Jones Family on Nelsh's recommendation.
"Passion" had bred three ewes at the time he was sold
resulting in 5 lambs born. The lowest any of the five placed at state fair was third, with
"Lover Boy" being named champion ram, and one of the
ewe lamb daughters taking reserve ewe.
