"Shasta" was purchased by John and Peg Petersen, Washington .
He was bred identical to "Brooke", 2003 National Reserve Grand Champion
Ewe (Both were sired by "Sequoia" & 1492's dam and Brooke's dam were
full sisters).

D.T.R. 00-1381 is a full sister to "Tenya" D.T.R. 98-1260 ewe. As a yearling,
"Tenya" D.T.R. 98-1260 was 4th Yearling Ewe and
member of our 1st flock at the 1999 North American International Livestock
Exposition (NAILE), Louisville, Kentucky. Teamed with "Alpine", 1999
National Champion Suffolk Ewe, D.T.R. 98-1260 was a member of our 1st Pair of
Yearling Ewes at the Cow Palace and California State Fair.
"Tenya" D.T.R. 98-1260 was the dam of our lead yearling ewe
in 2003 "Brooke", D.T.R. 02-1450.
"Brooke" was
our 2003 Reserve National Champion Ewe and Supreme Champion Ewe Overall Breeds
at the 2003 California State Fair and Cow Palace. D.T.R.
98-1260 was also the dam of D.T.R. 00-1360, our keeper ram out of the 2001
Yearling Ram pen.

American International Livestock Exposition. She was also Grand Champion Ewe as
a Yearling at the 1997 Cow Palace. D.T.R. 96-1077 was the dam of
"Rio de Oro", D.T.R. 99-1312, the ram John Jacoby and Family of Ohio purchased
as a ram lamb at the NAILE in 1999. "Rio de Oro" was the sire of Jacoby's
Supreme Champion Ewe and Grand Champion Suffolk Ewe at National Suffolk Sale
(Mid-West Stud Ram Sale ) in 2002.
